Franklin school board approves several transportation items

Just in time for the first day of school today, the Franklin school board approved several transportation items and the transportation program with bus routes, drivers and vehicles at its formal business meeting Monday.

Superintendent Eugene Thomas said he would check some items on the transportation program today after board member Cheryl Ferry said she had seen on the program that some kids were scheduled to ride the bus for an hour and forty-five minutes one-way.
