Altitude trampoline park permanently closing in Tallahassee

Jul 12, 2023

Altitude Trampoline Park is closing its only Tallahassee location after less than two years in the capital city.

Doors will permanently close on Aug. 15, according to a Facebook post alerting customers.

"Hi jumpers, this weekend will be the last weekend to jump with us, as we are permanently closing on Tuesday, August 15th," the post said. "Thank you all so much for your support of our park. Get those last jumps in while you still can!"

On Facebook, many customers were shocked and posted that the they were told by employees the park was closing for renovations but would reopen in three months.

"We apologize for any confusion but this location is permanently closing on Tuesday," the company wrote in response.

Located next to Planet Fitness, the trampoline park opened in March 2022 at 1925 N. Monroe St., at the location of the former Sky Zone. The 28,000 square-foot complex included a dodgeball arena, an obstacle course, foam pit with orange and purple soft cubes, trampoline basketball court and a warped wall with uneven trampoline platforms.

For those with annual and monthly passes, auto payments have been discontinued and memberships will be prorated and refunded.

The Tallahassee location is the only one in northwest Florida. Other locations are Bradenton, Jacksonville, Tampa, Kissimmee and Sanford. The closure leaves only one trampoline park in Tallahassee, Urban Air at 1644 Governor's Square Blvd.
